Weekend Retreat!

Now that you have all "SAVED THE DATE" -- here are the details and all of the info for the GREAT WEEKEND -- yes, it's RIGHT ON Ft. Lauderdale Beach!!! The Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel aka/Yankee Clipper for those of us who grew up here (this is a photo of the INFINITY pool - the water just runs over the side and, yes, this is the ATLANTIC OCEAN -- it's gorgeous) We'll be in PARADISE for THREE days!! Stamp Lauderdale Retreat (yes, that's me, Lynn, from Stamp Shack -- I'm changing the name because if you remember my website address was always Stamp Lauderdale -- someone else already had Stamp Shack -- SOOO, we are now Stamp Lauderdale) This all started because I have received SO many e-mails about doing another cruise. We have had FOUR cruises so far and they have all been a blast! So, I decided to try a "landlover's cruise". I wanted it to be ON THE BEACH, FIRST CLASS and REASONABLE. Well, all of my wishes came true!! By doing the event in Ft. Lauderdale if you want to drive back and forth each day you can. HOWEVER, I got SUCH a great rate and they are allowing us to have up to four people in the same room for the price of one. The rate is only $119.00 per night and ALL OF THE ROOMS are OCEAN VIEW!!! I can't wait to show you the room -- here it is . . .

Can you see the ocean out the window?? Well, when I went to preview the hotel, I honestly wanted to just plop down and stay! This is the hotel that was the "headquarter hotel" for the 2010 Super Bowl - so they renovated the ENTIRE hotel. It's gorgeous! Okay, that gives you the details on the rooms . . . I'm going to start a new block for the event -- I know I go on and on but I'm SO excited!!! Here it goes . . . I have reserved BOTH of the BALL ROOMS (so much space) - it's going to be amazing! The weekend will include TWO make-n-takes and THREE classes. The event will begin Friday at 5:30 p.m. - that gives you time to check into your room and tour the property! I'll be all set up in the ballrooms and will have goody bags for everyone. We will go as a group to a "special event" that is scheduled for 6:00 (included in the fee) - I promise you've never done this before! After that, the first make-n-take will begin -- it will be a "drop in" for those that want to go grab a bite for dinner before stamping. You'll get your schedule in your "goody bag" just like we've always done on the cruise. I will make sure you are in the class grouping with your roommate and friends (make sure you e-mail me your requests)! We'll be stamping, laughing, and partying Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday until 3:00 p.m. I have reserved the hotel rooms at the same rate through Sunday for those of us who want to have an extra day to relax!!! Ladies, the pool, restaurants (TONS within walking and driving distance), beach, spa, and shopping are all GREAT and right there!!! Husbands are welcome -- the fishing boats are right across the street - Jungle Queen, Sunset Sailing Cruise. I just LOVE the beach and pool setting - so peaceful and beautiful -- I KNOW THIS is going to be a BLAST! The price for the entire "stamping class and make-n-take package" is $135.00 per person. I know you won't believe this but I have signed up for Pay Pal. SO, if you would like, you can pay on Pay Pal. WOW, it's there - I've never used PayPal - the WORLD WIDE WEB is amazing!!! It's so important that I have an idea of how many of you are interested in attending as we will be using many NEW rubber stamps designed especially for this event. I've already started creating with Mark from Deadbeat Designs AMAZING images for AMAZING classes. I want this to be such a special weekend for all of you -- I promise it will be FULL OF TECHNIQUES and we will make special memories once again! Invite your friends from near and far . . . I had to include this photo - I run by this hotel everyday - the Sheraton Yankee Clipper was built to look like a ship and is a historic hotel on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. All of the other hotels are across the street -- NOT OURS, LADIES, we are ON THE BEACH -- "sexy stamping event" if I ever heard of one! Can you tell I"m EXCITED!!?? Cost: $135.00 - stamping portion ALL EVENTS and goody bag $30.00 up to $119.00 per night/hotel cost 1 - 4 people You can't beat the price for the amenities -- you can splurge for that THIRD NIGHT and treat yourself!!! We were at Troy's brother's wedding and I said I wanted to have a "sexy stamping event". I had to explain and say that what I meant was I wanted it to be FIRST CLASS for my friends -- all FIRST CLASS LADIES!!!
